This website will give you a shocking amount of information on the dangerous ingredients allowed to be legally thrown into commercial pet food ALONG with the dirty, unsanitary food preparation conditions of many [too, too many] pet food manufacturers.
The FDA has a pathetically incompetent stance of the pet food industry, and this is not surprising since they have been in the sickness/disease/selling drugs/big pharmaceutical revolving door/conflict of interest industry since their unethical inception on this Earth. They state:
“Animal feeds provide a practical outlet for plant and animal byproducts not suitable for human consumption.”
In other words, anything that is poisonous, rotted, diseased, and unfit for ANY food consumption can be thrown into the pot for pet food manufacturers.
How do you feel about this? No wonder so many pets are suffering from autoimmune diseases and sudden poisoning from toxic, processed “food” products.
Pet food has become a convenient market for waste from meat and grain producers which are deemed inedible for humans.

When I give my pets raw food, I make it myself from human grade, organic, free-range, LOCAL, small farmers and I SEAR it with hot spring water on the outside and then cut it up for my cats…. they love it and I feel good about what quality of raw food I am giving to my pets.
I write this blog in loving memory of two pets, Sophie and Sabrina, who died needlessly, and countless other beloved pets who were sickened and suffered from autoimmune diseases until they passed because of toxic pet food that should never be sold for ANY consumption.
