Words Affect Your Body’s Cells

Speak Life and you will create beauty.

“Life and Death are in the power of the tongue.” Proverbs 18:21

Dr. Henry Grayson of Westport, CT and NYC writes about “mind-body” connection in medicine and the wellbeing of all living beings.

He spoke about childhood trauma that extends to adult life, whether we know it or not. He emphasized the necessity of clearing childhood trauma in order to live freely of the negative voices of the past and learn to make self-empowering choices rather than living in a circle of self-sabotage.

The many studies on the power of the spoken word are astounding. There have been tests on water and what crystals form [or don’t form] from the power of just being spoken to in any certain way. The response in the water crystals was either a beautiful snowflake or a muddled and disorganized form that had no form.

“Every thought affects the cells” in the body. And he points out that if it shows up in water, it shows up in the body.

Another test was performed at a University and the students were told to talk to two plants. Both plants had exposure to light, water, and other nutrients needed to grow.

One plant was shouted at with curses and obscenities and Acid Rock was played.

The other plant was spoken to with encouragement, kindness, and love. Mozart and other classical music was played.

The plant with the curses, shouting, abuse, and other negative words with the acid rock died.

Yet the plant with the encouragement, spoken to with kindness and love and with classical music thrived and grew beautifully.

His point here was that you need the tools necessary to navigate in life and choose whether or not we allow others to victimize us. You can stand up and help yourself as an adult, where a potted plant cannot.

Plant yourself with good, honorable, Godly, blessed and loving surroundings and never allow anyone to abuse you. Ever.
